Breaking in the Grindstone

Walkthrough

1. 1Travel to Timberturner Wainwright and look for a Stranger NPC with a help prompt
2. 2Talk to the Artisan Stranger when the prompt 'Find the person in need of your help' appears
3. 3Listen to his concern about breaking in a new grindstone for his craft
4. 4Approach the grindstone near the artisan and interact with it
5. 5Select the 'Sharpen Weapon' function to test the grindstone — this demonstrates it works
6. 6Sharpen one of your weapons to completion on the grindstone
7. 7Return to the Artisan and talk to him to confirm the grindstone is properly broken in
8. 8Complete the quest to receive your rewards

Tips

• This is a short quest involving weapon maintenance mechanics — no combat involved
• The grindstone function sharpens your equipped weapons, improving their performance
• You can use any weapon you currently have; it doesn't need to be a special one
• Breaking in the grindstone is a light tutorial on the sharpening system for future use
• Iron Ore reward is useful for crafting and weapon reinforcement — stockpile when possible
