Walkthrough

1. 1Head back to Unicorn Cliff and approach Kailok the Hornsplitter's camp
2. 2You can skip the guard fights — focus on reaching the boss arena
3. 3Initiate the boss fight with Kailok the Hornsplitter
4. 4Use perfect shield counters when Kailok attacks — green glow means interruptible
5. 5Stock 40+ healing items before the fight — cook meat from Hernand vendors
6. 6Counter red-glint melee attacks with Force Palm for damage and defense
7. 7Avoid blue-glowing super armor phase — he's invulnerable, keep distance
8. 8Evade long-range wind slash attacks by rolling or moving away
9. 9Use standard attack combos between counters while managing stamina
10. 10Defeat Kailok to complete the quest and unlock Evasive Roll ability

Tips

• Perfect counters are the safest DPS — wait for attack patterns before engaging heavily
• Never attack during Hornsplitter's blue super armor phase — he's invincible
• Cook healing items in advance — buying pre-made food is expensive, cooking is cheaper
• Force Palm counters both interrupt bosses and restore your HP — use liberally
• Watch for wind slash tells — evade rolls work better than shields for range attacks
• Stamina management is critical — balance attacks, blocks, and evasion rolls
• You unlock Evasive Roll after this fight — it trivializes many later encounters
