- 1Hunt animals for meat or purchase meat from vendors in Hernand and Pailune
- 2Use cooking pots to convert raw meat into Grilled Meat (+80 health per piece)
- 3Stock up on 200+ pieces of Grilled Meat before entering the soldier camp
- 4Travel to the soldier camp marked at the quest objective in Hernand
- 5Enter the soldier camp and locate the white command tent
- 6Approach the white tent to trigger a cutscene with the commanding officer
- 7Listen to the briefing about the assault on Thornbriar Fortress
- 8Quest updates after the cutscene concludes
Tips
- CRITICAL: Stock up on 200+ Grilled Meat BEFORE entering the soldier camp — a major boss fight awaits
- Hunt animals early and use cooking pots — one is located to the right of the meat vendor in Hernand
- Grilled Meat restores +80 health per piece — essential for surviving the upcoming battle
- Do NOT die during the boss fight or you'll respawn at the start of the fortress and must redo the quest
- Bring plenty of healing items — the boss is designed so you WILL take damage
- You can also buy pre-cooked meat from vendors if you want to skip the hunting/cooking process
